New Student Registration
Students new to the district can register online through our New Student Pre-Enrollment. If your child is in kindergarten, please refer to our kindergarten registration section for kindergarten specific information.
During your child's online pre-enrollment, upload all required documentation electronically in order to finalize your child's enrollment. We ask that you do this as soon as possible in order to schedule your child.
If you are transferring to our district mid-year, please call the school secretary to ensure they have received your child's online pre-enrollment or contact Kate Gregory at kategregory@hartlandschools.us

School of Choice
School of Choice
The application window for School of Choice is now closed for the 2024-25 school year. School of Choice for the 2025-26 school year will open on February 1, 2025.

Kindergarten Registration
Kindergarten Registration
Kindergarten registration for the 2025-26 school year will open February 1, 2025.
Parents may begin the pre-enrollment process online and complete the enrollment by uploading the following documents:
- Birth certificate
- Immunization records with proof of DTP, Polio, MMR, Hepatitis B, Chicken Pox vaccines (or proof of having illness)
- Vision screening
- Dental assessment
- Proof of residency using one of the following: certificate of occupancy, purchase agreement, builder’s permit, rent receipt or agreement, mortgage statement/receipt, voter registration card, utility bill, driver’s license
Children are eligible for enrollment in kindergarten in August 2025 if they will have their fifth (5th) birthday on or before September 1, 2025. A child who turns five after September 1st and before December 1, 2025 may enroll if parent/legal guardian signs a Kindergarten Age Eligibility Waiver that is supported by the school district. Please upload this form during the online pre-enrollment process or submit it directly to your child's building.
A full-day Junior Kindergarten program may be offered. A minimum number of students are required for the program to be made available. Parent may need to provide transportation in order to participate. The age requirements for Junior Kindergarten are the same as for the regular Kindergarten program.
