Welcome!  10K Run, 5K Run, 3K Walk
We would like to welcome you to the 5^th Annual Hartland Memorial Day Fun Run & Walk presented by
Hartland Insurance Agency  

This event will be held prior to the other fun activities associated with Memorial Day in Hartland, Michigan. Last year we had 350 participants and raised over $5,000 for the Hartland Cheer team and  Hartland’s Special Education programs.

After the Run/Walk, feel free to stay around to enjoy a pancake breakfast, a color guard presentation, and other events! This is all before one of Michigan’s finest Memorial Day Parades. If you are still looking for fun, head to Epley Park for more Memorial Day activities.

Course Description: NEW 10K added!
The 10K Run, 5K Run and 3K Walk will start at the Hartland High School Field House located at 10635 Dunham Road in Hartland, MI. The course takes you on a circuit through the charming village of Hartland, then out of town to a challenging hill. At the end of the hill, runners will be turned around back toward the village. The return course routes the runners through the residential areas of the town, returning back at the Field House. The course is a flat course for the walkers. The new 10K course has an  additional loop down Dunham road and back, about 1 mile of this loop is unpaved.

Door prizes, t-shirts, awards.
Three deep in all age brackets.
Prize money for 1st overall male and female runner 
$100 in the 5k and in the 10k.  For the 5k there will be an additional $100 bonus if the runner beats the 5k course record.  There is no bonus for the 10k, as this is the first year for the 10k and no course record has yet been established.

Parade Activities
Proudly sponsored by The Hartland Area Community Council, the Hartland Memorial Day Parade activities include a pancake breakfast at 7:00 am, followed by a Color Guard presentation, B-29 fly over and the Memorial Day Parade which starts at 12:00 noon.  The Parade is the largest in Livingston County and the oldest Memorial Day Parade in Michigan.

Directions
From north or south: Take US 23 to exit 67 (M-59). Go east on M-59 to Hartland Rd. Turn left (north) onto Hartland Rd. and travel approximately 1.5 miles to Dunham Rd. Turn right onto Dunham Rd. The main entrance of the High School will be on your left. Follow the race signs to the parking area.
From the east or west: Take M-59 to Hartland Rd. (1/8 mile east of US-23). Go north on Hartland Rd. and travel approx 1.5 miles to Dunham Rd. Turn right on Dunham. The main entrance of the High School will be on the left. Follow the race signs to the parking area.
